My shop is a 36 x 44 foot concrete floor shop that had the floor, roof and wall up when I bought my house in 2005. I had almost completed the shop when it burn to the ground in 2007. Investigation found the fire was probably started by a Dewalt battery charger, but we were not able to prove that fact. After 2 hard fought years with the insurance company I had completely rebuild the shop on the orginal footprint with some significant improvements. The second floor had a 22 x 16 foot room with 8 foot ceilings. This room will ultimately be for clean work and upholstery work.

I am currently adding on a 36 x 44 foot storage shed to the rear of the shop. This area will be for storage of wood, metal and supplies and a dirty work area for media blasting and welding.
