Stationary Power Tools are the bread and butter for most projects in Docsprojectshop. Shop floor space is a premium even in a fairly spaceous shop. I think these are essential to easily doing porjects.

Table Saw

The table saw is the work horse in my shop. Used every day. This saw is able to cut easily a 8 foot piece of plywood. The Xacta fence is accurate for just about all purpose. Has a dust collection outlet on the left bottom built in. The wood side table is particle board and I added a router to use the same fence for table based router work.

15" thickness Planer

I start with a lot of rough sawn hardwoods in 5 and 6 quarters. This tool is the easy way to prep that lumber and glued up panels to thickness

6" Jointer

Jointer is used for squaring and smoothing the edges prior to gluing up panels or for taking the twist or curve out of a board up to 6" in width. This tool is a good one.

Wood Lathe

The wood lathe is used for turning wood objects as one of a kinds or as multiple copies. I love this lathe. Have added the lathe duplicator from Rockler to make duplication easier.

Norlock Surlok II

Air powered cincher or pnuematic riveter. I got this item when I bought all the equipmentf from  abandoned HVAC company warehouse. This is really a nice tool for make metal projects. Its heavy. Requires a fork lift to move it. Probably needs to be in air tools, but because of its weight it is definitely stationary.
